Junior Software Developer

Gravity provides the best-in-class, state of the art recommendation solutions for IPTV/CATV and e-commerce. Gravity’s goal is to provide the most unique and relevant recommendations for users, and to boost the revenues of our corporate clients. Are you ready to join?


Responsibilities:

Participation in software design;
Implementation of GUI and BLL level modules;
Integration of the recommendation engine to clients’ systems;
Testing, development of integration test cases;
Keeping relevant documentation updated;
Attending on project meetings.

Requirements:

Relevant university / college degree or studies;
1+ years development experience in Java 6 technology;
Reliability, openness and flexibility;
Willing to learn new technologies;
Precise, creative and proactive personality;
Good mathematical and algorithmic skills;
Good command of English.


Nice to have:

Experience or willingness to learn GWT;
Experience of very scalable and soft real-time Java EE architecture;
Knowledge in key-value storage technologies such as Cassandra, Memcached, Redis, MongoDB;
Experience with scripting languages;
Good sense of humor.
